ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Photography Policy:The Federation of New York Solid Waste Associations retains the right to use any and all photographs taken at such events for marketing purposes. These photographs may appear without compensation in newspapers, productions, publications, Web, or other printed or electronic materials related to the role and function of marketing the Federation of New York Solid Waste Association, or its Affiliates. Persons who do not wish their photograph to be used should provide written notification.
Liability Release, Claims Waiver, and Indemnification Agreement (hereafter collectively "Agreement"): In consideration for services of the Federation of New York Solid Waste Associations and its Affiliates (New York State Association for Solid Waste Management, New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse & Recycling and Solid Waste Association of North America, New York State Chapter), its agents, officers, volunteers, participants, employees and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf (hereinafter collectively "NY Federation"), I, on behalf, of myself, heirs, assigns and my estate, hereby agree to release and discharge the NY Federation as follows: a.) agree to indemnify, and hold harmless the NY Federation from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action in any way connected with my participation in the conference, both on and off premises, including any claims with alleged negligent acts; and b.) agree to pay for any fees and costs should the NY Federation, or anyone acting on its behalf, be required to incur attorney's fees and costs to enforce this Agreement. I acknowledge for this Agreement: a.) no impediments or reasons why I would lack the capacity to enter into; b.) read and understood it; and 3.) be unconditionally bound by its terms.
By payment and/or submitting this Registration Form, I, or my designee completing, acknowledge that I have read and accepted the Payment, Refund & Cancellation, Photograph and Liability Release, Claims Waiver and Indemnification Agreement on this form. Further, I understand that if I fail to appear that I, or my company/organization, will be responsible for the total charges due.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
  1. Refunds ONLY if WRITTEN cancellation is received by May 5, 2023. No phone cancellations.
  2. There will be a $25.00 fee for returned checks.

Attendee Registration Helpful Tips

GENERAL
Entry information accuracy
The information (name, company, address, etc. ) that you provide is used for your name badge, attendee list and mailings. Please be sure that you enter the exact way that you want it to appear.
SELECT MEMBERSHIP
Verification
Your membership organization is confirmed by the Registrar with the respective membership list. If you are not on the list, you are responsible for the Non-Member registration fee.
REGISTRATION POLICY
Name Badge Policy – Strictly Enforced
Admission to all activities, technical sessions and the trade show requires a Conference Name Badge.
Name Badge Sharing
The Federation of New Solid Associations Board of Directors considers this unethical.
Colleagues, Spouses and Activities
It is necessary to complete their own registration to insure that everyone receives the required name badge and entrance to the conference. The Tuesday activities must be purchased at the time of Attendee Registration, otherwise contact Mallory Cail to add an activity after the fact.

Special Requests
The Sagamore is excellent in accommodating your special needs. If you have a special diet request, please mention to The Sagamore staff that you requested at time of registration.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Payment Options
You are offered two (2) payment choices: credit card or invoice.
• Credit Card: Your credit card is immediately charged. Look for ‘SWANA, NYS’ on your credit card statement.
• Invoice: An email is sent to you with the invoice attached as a pdf.
Registration Fee Payment Policy
Payment of Conference Registration Fee prior to the conference is your responsibility. If we do not receive your registration fee payment prior to the conference, on site payment (cash, check or credit card) will be expected at time of check-in.
ATTENDEE VOUCHER
What is it?
All Booths, Outdoor Equipment Display, Platinum ($5,000) Sponsorships and Gold ($2,500) Sponsorships receive a complimentary registration which is issued as an ATTENDEE VOUCHER after they complete their ESA Sign-Up.
Utilization (Attendee Voucher)
Fill in the seven (7) character field in the METHOD OF PAYMENT section.
Adding a Tuesday P.M. Activity to an Attendee Voucher
If a Tuesday P.M. Activity is added when using an Attendee Voucher, you must pay for the activity with a credit card.
Activation Error (Attendee Voucher)
If you receive a message saying the ATTENDEE VOUCHER has not been activated, you must make full payment for your Booth, Outdoor Equipment Display or Sponsorship for it to be activated.
